Anything with a “?” means I either:
- Do not know the reference
- The reference may seem loose and probably coincidental
- It may just be a rewording of a phrase or something (but if that is the case, then since it is not a pop culture reference, there was no point in explaining it)
I cited original books, movies, TV shows, and even mentioned any remakes, but I did not mention sequels because I did not think sequels were relevant. Examples of sequels included The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989), The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter (1990), and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).
I tried my best to be consistent with everything. Every Rick and Morty episode links to its R&M fandom article. Every franchise links to its corresponding franchise fandom article. Every movie links to its page on IMDB. Every book links to its page on Goodreads. There are two songs that I linked to their music videos on YouTube (not Spotify because you usually have to subscribe to listen there). Every description (such as “science-fiction thriller-horror film”) was taken from the same source to be consistent (I used Wikipedia because I like how they describe movies).
